These Terms apply to the mobile application Knowzy ("the App") available on iOS and Android. The App is developed and published by Emran.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Knowzy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Knowzy is an educational mobile application that provides:

• Curated educational content across various topics
• Personalized learning recommendations
• Interactive quizzes and knowledge assessments
• Daily topic feed in a TikTok-style format
• Free and premium subscription tiers

3. Free Tier and Subscription

3.1 Free Tier

Free users receive:

• 30 topics per day: Access to 30 learning topics daily
• Daily reset: Topic limit resets at midnight (your local timezone)
• Banner advertisements: Display ads throughout the app
• Basic features: Core learning functionality

3.2 Premium Subscription

Premium subscribers receive:

• Unlimited topics: No daily limit on content access
• Ad-free experience: No banner advertisements
• Priority content: Early access to new topics
• Advanced analytics: Detailed learning progress insights

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

You may create an account using:

• Email and password
• Google Sign-In
• Sign in with Apple

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to circumvent daily topic limits or subscription requirements
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated systems (bots) to access the service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content

All content in the App, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to Knowzy and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

6.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

6.3 Restrictions

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission.

7. Content Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all content is:

• 100% accurate or up-to-date
• Complete or comprehensive
• Suitable for your specific learning needs

The App is for educational purposes and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

8. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services including:

• Google Firebase (backend services)
• Google AdMob (advertising)
• Google Analytics (analytics)
• Apple/Google payment processing

Use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service.

9. Advertising

Free tier users will see banner advertisements. We use Google AdMob to serve ads. Ad content is controlled by AdMob and may be based on:

• Device information
• General demographics

Premium subscribers do not see advertisements.

10. Payment and Refunds

10.1 Payment

Subscription payments are processed through:

• Apple App Store (iOS)
• Google Play Store (Android)

10.2 Refunds

Refund policies are governed by the app store:

• iOS: Subject to Apple's refund policy
• Android: Subject to Google Play's refund policy

Contact the respective app store for refund requests.

10.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months
• We are not responsible for data loss, though we implement reasonable safeguards

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Knowzy from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your:

• Use or misuse of the App
• Violation of these Terms
• Violation of any rights of another party

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without notice, for:

• Breach of these Terms
• Illegal or fraudulent activity
• Prolonged inactivity
• At our sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via:

• In-app notification
• Email notification
• Update to "Last Updated" date

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law
